The Tri County Saints are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality and affordable hockey in a positive environment from Learn-To-Skate through Midget for Mansfield, Easton, Norton, Foxboro, Taunton, Lakeville, Dighton, and surrounding town
All tuition costs for the Tri-County Saints are subject to change depending on ice costs, league costs, number of teams and players enrolled, and operating expenditures.
A sibling discount applies if you have 2 or more skaters in the Travel League (Squirts, Peewees and Bantams).
Tri-County Angels (girls) program: The Angels program started in 2021 as a solution to give our female athletes at the 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U levels the ability to play on a girls only team vs. other girls only teams in the South Shore Conference (where possible, the 8U Mites Angels will continue to play in a traditional co-ed division). Girls can choose to do one program (girls only) or the other (co-ed) or both (see dual registration information below).
Dual Rostering: TCS prides itself on offering players multiple opportunities to participate in the great sport of hockey. Below are two options that we offer at the mite and travel programs that allow young athletes flexibility and options in how they choose to participate.
Goalie & Player dual rostering: TCS and the South Shore Conference allow players to be registered on 2 rosters at the same age level to participate in different positions, meaning a player can be a goalie for team X and a skater for team Y at the same age level so long as they are placed at the appropriate level for each position. This option is available only at the Travel (10U, 12U and 14U) age level programs, as 6U/8U mites don't have a goalie-specific registration available.
Process: In order dual register, a player should use our registration system to pre-register for both the standard age level tryout and the goalie specific tryouts.
Initial Registration: Follow the normal process and indicate "no" on the goalie question
Second Registration: Follow the process to register for a second time (creating a second record for your child), only this time indicating "yes" on the goalie question. This will create the two registration records necessary to be registered for both programs and tuition would then be adjusted accordingly.
Saints (co-ed) & Angels (girls) dual rostering: The dual roster Angels/Saints program is available at the Mite and Travel (8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U) age level programs.
Process: In order to dual register, a player should use our registration system to pre-register for both the co-ed age level tryout and the Angels specific tryouts.
Initial Registration: The player would first register for the co-ed team at their age level. At the end of the online registration process, there is a special question asking if the player is also registering for the Angels girls only team. Answer that question Yes (which will adjust the tuition).
Second Registration: Follow the process to register again, only this time selecting the Angels girls only team at their age level. Regular Tri-County tuition is charged for the girls only program, and then the tuition for the second registration for the co-ed program is substantially reduced.
TUITION POLICY FOR THE 8U, 10U, 12U AND 14U PROGRAMS:
Tuition must be paid in full by August 15, 2023, in order to begin the 2023-2024 season, including team practices, scrimmages, games and any other Tri-County Saints activities.
If a player still has an unpaid tuition balance as of September 15, 2023, the player will also forfeit his or her assigned team spot and, upon full payment of tuition will be placed on the lowest level team for the age group.
NO REFUND OF ANY TUITION PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE IF PLACEMENT ON A LOWER TEAM IS NOT ACCEPTED.
If you have any questions on the dual rostering process, please feel free to email
,
or our
, Ricki Bolles and Eric Hosmer.

TCS strongly believes in the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM) and the long-term benefits it provides to players. The objective of this stage is to refine fundamental movement skills and begin to acquire basic sports skills. This is the time when a foundation is laid for future acquisition of more advanced skills.
The focus is on the development of physical literacy. Fundamental movement skills should be mastered and motor development emphasized, while the participation in many sports/activities is encouraged. For optimal skill acquisition, the basic hockey skills of skating and puck control are introduced. FUN competitions are also introduced in a team environment.
Tri-County Saints’ USA Hockey certified coaches follow the ADM as closely as possible in practices by doing small area stations and keeping players moving. As recommended by the ADM, TCS plays cross-ice games for players at this level. By playing cross-ice games players of all levels benefit by getting far more puck touches, greater lateral movement, and agility due to the confined space. As part of your tuition TCS also offers additional development opportunities such as weekly skills conducted by our Pro Stride power skating certified instructor.
For more information on the USA Hockey ADM please go to www.usahockey.com
TCS makes every effort to place each player who tries out according to that player's skill, ability, and experience and depending upon the number of teams TCS is able to field. Some players may be asked to participate in the TCS development program.

SSC Midget Short Season Program 2023
This registration is for the South Shore Conference Midget Short Season program which starts at the end of August and runs thru mid-late November prior to the high school season commencing.
Program Details: All players interested in this program are welcome to attend our Midget tryouts (see the schedule below). The tryouts are designed to identify players with the ability appropriate for our A level team(s), if a player would like to be considered for the A level team their participation at tryouts is required. If a player knows they would prefer to play on a B level team, tryout participation is not required. In the 2022 season, for example, Tri-County had 1 A team and 6 B teams. The B level teams are comprised in a number of ways, based on HS affiliation, friend/former teammates who wish to play together, as well as age based teams.
Tri-County is making an effort with the South Shore Conference to have age appropriate 16U and 18U teams available at the B level. In the event that the league offers 16U as a division this year, we will be placing players on such a team if they don't have a noted HS affiliation or have not made a request to play 18U. This will take place during the spring after tryouts have taken place, similar to how we have done it in past years with incorporating requests for friends/teammates.
Tryout Registration Details: When registering for the first time - you will need to create the adult record first, and then you will immediately enter your child's information with their birthdate on the next screen.
