The Tri-County Saints Development Program is for boys and girls aged 4 - 12 and delivers sound, age-appropriate fundamental skill development in a safe, fun environment. Our goal is to help kick-start a lifelong love of hockey in our players and effectively teach the skills required for a successful transition from Learn to Play to competition with Tri-County Saints teams.

Following the USA Hockey Athlete Development Model (ADM), the TCS Development Program will deliver combination of drills and fun small area games designed to improve our players’ FUNdamental hockey skills including:

• Skating
• Stickhandling
• Passing
• Shooting
• Hockey IQ

2024 / 2025 TCS Development Program features:

• 2 practices per week focusing on skill development
• 1 cross-ice or half-ice game per week
• Use of QuickChange goalie gear for all players to experience the goalie position
• USA Hockey certified coaches

All players are required to wear full protective hockey equipment, including mouth guard. We do not encourage full-time goalies at this level. All players are encouraged to wear positional protective equipment to facilitate the development of fundamental hockey skills. Opportunities to learn goalie-specific skills will be provided during each session using USA Hockey QuickChange goalie equipment.

*Registration may be prorated for players graduating from Learn to Play mid-session

There are no tryouts. TCS Development Program is open to Boys and girls aged 4-12 who have completed a learn to play program.
